Singapore Grand Prix, Formula 1

The SGP Formula 1 is a motor race that is apart of the FIA Formula One World Championship. This inaugural and annual night race held within Singapore also features both internationally and locally renowned artists as part of their entertainment and activities.

 

For both 2017 and 2018 editions, I was given the artist liaison officer role for Craft Lifestyle Artists and roaming acts respectively. The former consisted of magicians, a tarot card reader and digital illustrator. The latter was a duo of magicians and illusionists from Artful Deceptions.

 

Roles:

• Contacting and liaising with artists before and throughout the event.

• Taking care of the artists, tending to their needs, and manning the booths allocated to them for the entirety of the three-day event.

• Familiarising myself with the artists’ schedules and ensuring they arrive at their performance venues punctually.

• Liaising with officers from other departments, such as operations, transport and hospitality.

• Overall, following the event timeline and doing everything I can to produce a great experience for all - VIP guests, staff, colleagues and artists.
